In June 2003, City Council and the Regional District approved the use of trails and walkways in some City and Regional District parks. Dogs are not permitted on the grass or in any water, but they are permitted on the trails and walkways.

Enterprise Off Leash Area |
Enterprise Off-Leash Area is located behind Shaw Cable near Enterprise/Leckie/Hunter Court. The area has re-opened after being closed for trail improvement work in the fall of 2006.

Mission Off-Leash Area is located near the Mission Creek Greenway and the Mission Sports Fields. In January, 2007 a "small dog" area within the OLA was created.
